How to use Claude for business in Malaysia

Start with one repetitive task your Malaysian business already does. Have Claude draft it in plain language, then check the result before anyone else sees it.

Start with one task, not a transformation

Pick a job your business already repeats every week: a quote, a Monday report, a parent enquiry, a follow-up that keeps getting forgotten. Write that job in one sentence. That is the brief. Claude works from the brief you give it, in plain language. You do not need to code to try this.

A practical sequence

  1. Name the task and the person who feels the pain. “Our ops lead rebuilds the weekly report by hand.”
  2. Give Claude the real inputs you already have: last week’s numbers, a WhatsApp thread, the old report. Vague inputs produce vague drafts.
  3. Ask for the output you already produce. A quote. A one-page summary. A list of who to call today. Not “an AI strategy”.
  4. Check names, figures and promises before the draft leaves the building. Claude can sound sure and still be wrong.
  5. Keep the version that your team will open again next Monday. Throw away the rest.

That is the same shape as the half-day workshop, Build Your First AI System. You bring one painful task and leave with it running. The room is about 40 people, in Kuala Lumpur, and no coding background is required.

What members have actually said

These are comments already published on the Claude Malaysia homepage, not a promise of the same result for you.

  • A contractor in batch 3 said they walked in not knowing Claude Code and walked out with a quote generator for a renovation business.
  • An SME founder in KL said the workshop saved their ops team about 10 hours a week on reports.

The 1-day programme is built around a live dashboard for a CEO or HOD — sales, HR, or an executive view — and a report the team currently writes by hand. The 2-day CashFlowOS programme is for a founder and their finance and ops team. Registered employers can claim those two programmes under HRD Corp SBL-Khas. The steps are on the course guide.

If you run a team

Do not start by asking everyone to “learn AI”. Start by sitting one painful report or follow-up in front of the person who owns it. If the draft is useful, that person will pull the next task in. If it is not, you have spent an afternoon, not a transformation budget.
